Summary: Aerith decides to use that gift certificate, just to see her husbands reaction.

Fayt was confused. Not only had he been invited over to the strip club, it was no less than his wife who did so. He thought it over, and then came to this conclusion: Sheifa and Selphie had been miffed about being reassigned, so they conned Aerith into getting back at him or something. He then shook his head as that thought came to mind, however, because it was a little ridiculous. Aerith wouldn't agree to do something like that, he was sure, and the two best of friends would rather beat him up than play a trick on him. So he thought of another explanation, and what came to mind was that two of his closest male friends in Econtra - namely Nocturne and Albel, who happened to be also good friends with the girls previously mentioned - were playing a prank of sorts on him. After all, didn't they repeatedly say that he needed to lighten up?

In any case, he was there now, sitting in the dark, waiting for whatever surprise - or trick - would spring up in front of his eyes.

Aerith heard Fayt, and had to stifle a giggle. This made her feel even more ridiculous, but what could she do? Taking a deep breath and walking onto the stage -- she was barefoot, since she wasn't keen on the idea of the heels that were offered -- Aerith flipped a little switch near the base of the pole, which turned on the music, and got into position, waiting for the light to come on and her cue to start. She couldn't look at Fayt, she knew the look on his face would destroy her resolve. Heart pounding, Aerith closed her eyes and began the...dance? that she had been taught, praying that it would be alright.

The expression on Fayt's face was difficult to figure out.

He was shocked, of course. In fact, it was almost the same expression when he found out on Moonbase about the existence of the Creator who was out to destroy their universe, and how he was given a strange power to face the crisis. In a matter of seconds, that expression seemed to grow even worse, as if he'd seen Luther again and that he'd killed Sophia right in front of his eyes one more time. Or something like that. It really was almost indescribable. But he was there, frozen, unable to process what was going on. The outfit was fine, but why was Aerith up there on that stage and- Apris, was that a pole? And why was she dancing-

He felt like he was going into cardiac arrest.

Aerith smiled a little to herself, imagining Fayt's reaction right about now. Shock, probably? He could still be trying to process what he was seeing...the fact that his wife was on a pole and dancing was quite a lot. Poor guy. She wanted to open her eyes and look at him, smile and stop this slightly embarrassing fiasco, but she couldn't...not yet, at least.
