She'd realized that despite the fact she'd been here for over a year now, she really hadn't gotten out and met people. She'd been too involved in her own things. It wasn't quite New Year's, but she wanted to change that, so as she walked, she kept an eye out for anything or anyone that might catch her attention.
And indeed, someone did. She didn't know this person at all, but what they were doing looked interesting. They obviously weren't human, not that that bothered Miyako. But she stopped, hopefully out of the way, and watched curiously.

Turning her green-bladed lightsaber off, Ahsoka hooked the hilt back to her belt and waved in the direction of the stranger. "Hello," she said in a friendly tone. It was due time she started associating with people beyond the other Force-users in the compound.

But right now, there didn't seem to be any real danger in just talking to a friendly person. She might even make a new friend.

"Ahsoka," she offered, leaving her last name out as the other girl had. "I didn't disturb you, did I?"
Reply
"Perhaps you would appreciate a sparring partner."

"Keep your guard up," Revan said, bringing her saber in for an attack.

Holding her lightsaber up in front of her, she said, "Of course," and dodged the attack, jumping back some while throwing up her hand to bring her blade in contact with the other person's, whose identity she still wasn't clear on.

A lightsaber. A real, genuine, honest-to-goodness lightsaber.
He decided promptly that he was dreaming, and drifted closer like a moth drawn to a flame. He was clutching some of the things he had requisitioned to his chest, a large bag full of flour and peaches and sugar and butter and a new whisk. Thoroughly bundled in black, sombre winter attire, there was little of him visible except his face. When he came close enough he set down his bag on the bench and sat beside it, just watching the girl practice.

Her attention caught and curiosity peaked, she paused and turned to look directly at the man.

"Better than what?" he asked, emerging from what passed as undergrowth. "Last time someone made a comment like that, they were setting themselves up for big trouble. 'Pride goeth before the fall', and all that."
Reply
"Pride goeth before the fall," she echoed with a bit of sadness. "Sounds about right if what they say about the Order is true."
(( ooc: since the digimon are data and she's not used to sensing such, i'd image she wouldn't have felt his presence approaching, especially being a padawan who is far from completing her training ))

Garurumon moved further from the shadows, and said, "It's a common failing of all sentient beings. I've yet to run into a species who hasn't had some version of that saying. Even in the Digital World, some of the scariest Digimon I've met were so-called 'good' vaccine who were so good they were evil, and unable to see it about themselves."
He sat down, and said, "My name is Garurumon, and I'm a Digimon, or DIgital Monster. You are?"

"Digital World?" Ahsoka asked, her curious nature taking over. He was from a world comprised of data? Was he data? If he was, then that would explain why she was having trouble getting some sense of him in the Force. The Force existed in all things...but did it exist in data? She couldn't sense holos...or maybe she could. She'd never tried, there was never any reason to brush her senses against a holo. She'd ask for clarification on the matter, but didn't want to insult him with her assumptions. She could be wrong, after all. Her habit of jumping to conclusions had gotten the better of her in the past more times than she liked to admit ( ... )

Lucivar figured she must have some power he did not know about. It would not be the first time. She also looked so different. She was like no other race he knew of, while again not strange for this place.
Lucivar could see she was a warrior and this lead to him want to see what she could do. And as an Eyrien warrior and decades practice under his belt he always wanted to know how he did when faced with the unknown.

"Am I...disturbing you?" She asked, unsure of how to go about talking to the person she assumed was the one who tried to touch her thoughts.
Reply
"No. I just came to see what the sound was. Is that your sword?" Lucivar looked at the blade; his face now showed some wonder. He had never seen a blade like that, or anything else.
Reply
"Actually, it's called a lightsaber," she corrected. "But yeah, it's mine. Constructed it myself."
