Miyako was bundled up in her warmest jacket, a scarf around her neck, and gloves on as she wandered through the park. This was her second Christmas in Econtra, and she'd enjoyed it pretty much. She still had a couple of the cookies Yamato had sent her, and since it wasn't that bad of a day weather-wise, she'd decided to take them, some milk, and spend a little time wandering around, just to get some fresh air. And maybe meet people.

She'd realized that despite the fact she'd been here for over a year now, she really hadn't gotten out and met people. She'd been too involved in her own things. It wasn't quite New Year's, but she wanted to change that, so as she walked, she kept an eye out for anything or anyone that might catch her attention.

And indeed, someone did. She didn't know this person at all, but what they were doing looked interesting. They obviously weren't human, not that that bothered Miyako. But she stopped, hopefully out of the way, and watched curiously.

With fine-tuned senses like hers, she'd felt someone approaching in the Force before they came within her line of sight. It wasn't until they were close and came to a stop did Ahsoka stop swinging her blade around and turned to face the person: a human female, bundled up due to the cold, she assumed. Ahsoka wasn't bundled, but thanks to her non-human physiology, she could tolerate colder temperatures better than humans could. It would get to her after a few hours, but for the moment, she was fine and her cloak was tossed over the branch of a nearby tree in case she needed it.

Turning her green-bladed lightsaber off, Ahsoka hooked the hilt back to her belt and waved in the direction of the stranger. "Hello," she said in a friendly tone. It was due time she started associating with people beyond the other Force-users in the compound.

"Hello," Miyako smiled, waving as well. "I'm Miyako." This person did look and apparently acted friendly, though she was not going to take too much at face value. She had noticed some of the troubles around there, though she tended to keep away from that whenever she could. She didn't have Hawkmon around to watch her back...maybe she should see if someone could make her one of those animated plushies? They could be useful if anything happened.

But right now, there didn't seem to be any real danger in just talking to a friendly person. She might even make a new friend.

While she considered herself to be a friendly person, she didn't have much experience befriending people who weren't fellow Jedi in training, Clones, or droids. It wasn't her fault that she'd been tossed immediately into a war after leaving the Temple, she was a victim of circumstance. It was, however, her fault that she'd gone into reclusion instead of mingling with the people here. She could have made more friends by now if she hadn't fallen into herself and stubbornly refused to get to know anyone.

"Ahsoka," she offered, leaving her last name out as the other girl had. "I didn't disturb you, did I?"

Revan could feel the Padawan training long before she saw the young girl, and when she saw that Ahsoka was training in the use of a lightsaber, the young woman couldn't help but feel impressed at the child's dedication. She stepped closer, her thick, padded armor and mask once more covering and hiding any and all signs of gender or identity. Drawing her lightsaber was the beginning of the fun part. The hum of the crimson blade of energy cheered Revan, as it always did, and she loved how soothing the sound was, in spite of it being emitted by a weapon made for destruction. "Having fun, Padawan?" Revan called, her voice distorted just enough by the facemask to be unrecognizable as any specific species, gender, or person.

"Perhaps you would appreciate a sparring partner."

Ahsoka stopped as suddenly the Force felt like Dooku, like Ventress...only different. More confident that the count and much calmer than the Dark Jedi. She eyed the person the armor, listening closely to the voice that spoke and taking in the features that weren't accented or defined, unable to get any feel of what species this person may be or even what gender they were. The Force wasn't telling her much, either, which only caused Ahsoka's agitation to rise. She didn't like not knowing, not having any sense of who she was talking to. It made her nervous. Jedi weren't supposed to be nervousThe color of the person's blade did nothing to quell that feeling and she flipped her lightsaber in her hand so that she was holding it in reverse-grip instead of the traditional, more comfortable in the style she'd been taught at the temple than what Anakin wanted her to learn ( ... )

Beneath her mask, Revan smirked at the stance Ahsoka took. "That's an uncommon one for a Jedi," she replied, copying the stance, "but I'm flexible." Revan made a mental note not to use any offensive Force powers on the young child, but she did charge straight in, her Bondar-fitted lightsaber humming with power. Revan wasn't worried about hurting the girl, that was the whole point of the Bondar. The most pained thing would likely be Ahsoka's pride.

"Keep your guard up," Revan said, bringing her saber in for an attack.

Ahsoka wasn't the best duelist, but she was formidable - the fact that she was able to take on Asajj Ventress without getting seriously injured was proof of that. There was much she still had to learn and flaws in her technique that her master felt necessary to point out when they were training. It was his job, after all and Ahsoka hated that this place had deprived her of his instruction. Future Sith Lord or not, Anakin Skywalker was her master, her friend, and the man she knew had no darkness within him. He was one of the best duelists around in her time and she could have learned a lot from him in that department, if she hadn't been taken away from her world and dropped into this miserable place.

Holding her lightsaber up in front of her, she said, "Of course," and dodged the attack, jumping back some while throwing up her hand to bring her blade in contact with the other person's, whose identity she still wasn't clear on.

The Piemaker had seen many things since he had arrived at Neocontra. He had heard tales of spaceships and stars, had spoken to ghosts and aliens and magicians and everything else he could imagine. Yet as far as he could tell, this took the cake.

A lightsaber. A real, genuine, honest-to-goodness lightsaber.

He decided promptly that he was dreaming, and drifted closer like a moth drawn to a flame. He was clutching some of the things he had requisitioned to his chest, a large bag full of flour and peaches and sugar and butter and a new whisk. Thoroughly bundled in black, sombre winter attire, there was little of him visible except his face. When he came close enough he set down his bag on the bench and sat beside it, just watching the girl practice.

Ahsoka didn't need to see the man's face, or even look at him, to get a good glimpse of him. She watched him through the Force without moving out of her stance and halting the swift motions of her blade, taking in features that were obviously human and picking up on a sense of wonder and amazement that radiated in her direction. It confused her, but was a nice change from the usual fear and weariness that people usually screamed in the Force when she was around.

Her attention caught and curiosity peaked, she paused and turned to look directly at the man.

The good thing about Digivolving at will was that is Adult form was much warmer than his usual Gabumon form. He had wanted to burn off the snacks Yamato had fixed for him, when he saw the young warrior moving through the park, then pull out a cylander, onto to see a colmn of light emerge from one end Garurumon had seen some odd weapons, but swords of light? He couldn't think of anything in the Digital World like that. And the Digital World had some unusual things considered normal. The way she held her weapon showed that she was still working on her current grip, and Garurumon watched.

"Better than what?" he asked, emerging from what passed as undergrowth. "Last time someone made a comment like that, they were setting themselves up for big trouble. 'Pride goeth before the fall', and all that."

Ahsoka jumped a little in surprise, whirling around and holding her green-bladed lightsaber out in front of her form in a defensive manner. She was startled by the voice, having not felt the movement in the Force as anything that should have registered as a person, and blinked at the form before her - not because of it's shape, no as a Togruta and someone from the Galaxy, that would have been highly hypocritical of her - but because she hadn't felt him approach. That baffled her and made her question the precision of her senses.

"Pride goeth before the fall," she echoed with a bit of sadness. "Sounds about right if what they say about the Order is true."

(( ooc: since the digimon are data and she's not used to sensing such, i'd image she wouldn't have felt his presence approaching, especially being a padawan who is far from completing her training ))

{{OOC: Totally luffs ya for knowing that about Digimon, being data and all that.}}

Garurumon moved further from the shadows, and said, "It's a common failing of all sentient beings. I've yet to run into a species who hasn't had some version of that saying. Even in the Digital World, some of the scariest Digimon I've met were so-called 'good' vaccine who were so good they were evil, and unable to see it about themselves."

He sat down, and said, "My name is Garurumon, and I'm a Digimon, or DIgital Monster. You are?"

(( ooc: i used to be a hardcore digimon fan years ago. i stopped watching when frontier came out. just couldn't make myself get into that series. haven't really looked much into the more recent one ))

"Digital World?" Ahsoka asked, her curious nature taking over. He was from a world comprised of data? Was he data? If he was, then that would explain why she was having trouble getting some sense of him in the Force. The Force existed in all things...but did it exist in data? She couldn't sense holos...or maybe she could. She'd never tried, there was never any reason to brush her senses against a holo. She'd ask for clarification on the matter, but didn't want to insult him with her assumptions. She could be wrong, after all. Her habit of jumping to conclusions had gotten the better of her in the past more times than she liked to admit ( ... )

Lucivar was in the park again. It was his favorite place to go in this strange camp. He heard a hum that made him wonder what made that sound. A bit of searching lead him to find some female with a sword of green light. Lucivar thought at first she was Blood like him but when he tried to feel her mind he only got a feel of landen, well not all there was a feel of more but not Blood.

Lucivar figured she must have some power he did not know about. It would not be the first time. She also looked so different. She was like no other race he knew of, while again not strange for this place.

Lucivar could see she was a warrior and this lead to him want to see what she could do. And as an Eyrien warrior and decades practice under his belt he always wanted to know how he did when faced with the unknown.

The young padawan stopped swinging her blade when she felt something brush against the barriers of her mind, not recognizing the presence and knowing it not to be the mind of another Force-sensitive. It confused her and she turned to face him, wonder displayed over her red and white facial features that marked her as a Togruta.

"Am I...disturbing you?" She asked, unsure of how to go about talking to the person she assumed was the one who tried to touch her thoughts.

Lucivar found it somewhat funny she had a look of wonder when she looked so different to him. This place always helped him stay on top of things, not that he needed help but...

"No. I just came to see what the sound was. Is that your sword?" Lucivar looked at the blade; his face now showed some wonder. He had never seen a blade like that, or anything else.

Sword? Odd, everyone here seemed to be mistaking her blade for a sword, as if it were made of metal and not something that was much more complex and even more deadly. A sword would break if taken to a steel door, but her lightsaber would cut right through it.

"Actually, it's called a lightsaber," she corrected. "But yeah, it's mine. Constructed it myself."
