Azula had felt simply accomplished by releasing Kragok. He was charming enough, and for a creature she never knew in her world, interesting, so she was in reasonably easy spirits. Going by the church however, she found, in her eyes, the exact opposite. There was that fool Duo, caught in the mistletoe. Hadn't this been a situation that had happened similarly with Kadaj, and that particular incident happened?

Definitely not.

She raised her eyes to him. "Really, this lack of a pattern from those guilty is starting to get irritating. SO you're caught too, are you? I suppose you weren't here last year?"

Only a moment later it occurred to Azula Duo had amnesia from a plot some time ago.

Duo glanced over at her, brows raised and head tilting sideways a moment. "Scuse me?" he asked as she spoke. He watched her a moment, half checking her out, half analyzing her. She was younger then he was by at least two years, and by the looks of it, Japanese or Chinese.

She knew him. Okay, that's established. She may have also been mocking him, but that was a little harder to tell. He let his curiocity get the better of him, and nodded curtly to her, engaging her in conversation. "I hear ya. What do you mean by lack of pattern though?" And what was she refering to?

"The plants," Azula said. "I would have preferred a pattern that would have at least been interesting to try to figure out. Instead, its done on a whim, apparently for the sole purpose of this kiss. I can't fathom the usefulness of this sort of thing. Why are people here more intent on fun then on surviving?"

Azula shrugged. Maybe it was for the best. AS long as she and Mercury, Mai and Zuko left unharmed, what did the rest of these fools matter? If they were so intent on dying, she should leave them to that fate.

"Yeah.. But.." he frowned, she got her side of it easily enough, she didn't see the point. But her real question? "I don't know. Some might argue fun's kinda part of life.. Might be their version of Moral. They don't really think about the consequences of their 'fun'.. that being that it's causing alot more grief..." He winced a little, looking away, "And the horrible timing..."

Not a heart beat later, he added, "Stupid question, but.. What do I call you? You obviously know me." a small chuckle.
