Despite the fact that he had seen communications detailing the effects of the mistletoe located around the compound, Wufei still didn't believe any of what these people were saying. It was an interesting, if elaborate, joke -- or perhaps mass hallucination, as he was still entertaining the theory that everyone here had been influenced beyond their wills.

Stepping into the cafe, he looked around for a moment before locating Maxwell in the furthest corner. As he walked towards the other pilot, he searched around for what must be there -- the rumored mistletoe.

He was unable to keep a low chuckle from escaping him as he moved towards Duo, smirking at the other man's supposed 'predicament.'

"Nice job, Maxwell. Shall I go yell out to the street that you're in need of a woman, or end this the easy way?" Despite his minor amusement at the situation, they really didn't have the time to waste on Maxwell's delusions.

Duo guestured for Wufei to stop when he came within two yards, "Take a step closer and you'll regret it." he said. After all, he knew he'd hurt the guy if he had to kiss him, more then just a cracked ribbed. Well.. not worse.. but still...

"Just go find someone, Wufei.." he smirked a little, a brow quirking, "What's with you lately? I mean.. hell you got more of a perchance for wasting time then I do!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Wufei asked, a little irritation seeping through his good humor. He'd done as Quatre had asked, mostly -- where he was supposed to find a girl, he wasn't sure. He certainly hadn't bothered to meet any women in this place beyond those he recognized, and while he had just joked about finding a random female off the street for Duo, he was not about to actually do so.

What would he have told them? My friend -- well, associate, anyway -- needs some quality time with some of your feminine assets. This way, please. Ludicrous and humiliating on his end; embarrassing if not flat-out insulting for the female in question.

Maxwell's mind might be affected enough by this place that he believed he was being held captive by the mistletoe, but Wufei certainly knew better; ignoring Duo's warning, he walked forward so that he could drag the deluded boy out of his holiday-cheer-induced mental prison.

"Wait.. WAIT!" Duo half yelled as Wufei entered the thresh hold. How now they only had just over a yard to stand in, he was not going to kiss this guy. He crossed his arms, eyes closed, brows furrowed, knowing the inevitable was probably gonna happen here. Did Wufei have this many listening problems? He was aware that that was a common assumption regarding himself, but never Wufei.
