Summary: Sarah goes to return some books, and gets stuck in the hallway.
Warnings: None to my knowledge, matters on who's willing to kiss the former Crazypants.

So Dean wasn't exactly following Sarah. It was just that, with Sam like this, he didn't really have a choice, did he? He had to know what was happening. He didn't care if everyone said it was normal and it happened here and to stop worrying. It was his little brother and Sammy didn't just drop into comas like this. It had to do with the Keepers, or with some plot. Was he supposed to just trust that this Sarah chick hadn't drugged him or worked some hoodoo or who knew what?

No, he couldn't take that chance. So he'd followed her here, to the school, to spy. He didn't know quite what to make of it when she stopped in place and seemed trapped. He looked on the floor and ceiling for Devil's Traps and saw, to his surprise, mistletoe.

Was there any lore on mistletoe affecting demons? Or any other kind of baddie?

In any case, it looked like his chance. Dean slipped out from behind her, saying, "Looks like you're stuck pretty well, there."

Sarah started a little when Dean spoke to her and she turned wide green eyes, lifting one hand from her books, pressing it against his chest, over her heart. "You scared me," the brunette said quietly, her cheeks flushing.

She looked down at herself and tried to move again before returning her gaze to Dean. "Yeah. I don't know why, though." Sarah lifted one foot, then the other. Then tried to walk again but failed. "I don't understand," Sarah pouted, her brow furrowed.

Oh she seemed innocent enough of course, but Dean was used to not taking things or people at face value. What if she was working for Lilith? What if she'd followed them there? He couldn't take that risk. Of course, he trusted Sam to have checked her if they were living in the same space, but she could have been possessed since then. There was no harm in being careful.

"It's Sarah, isn't it?" he asked, starting to circle her but keeping enough of a distance that the mistletoe didn't catch him - though that was purely unintentional.

Her brow furrowed for a moment at his knowing her name. "Um, yeah. That's me." His voice sounded vaguely familiar and the brunette attempted to place it. Searching her mind, her green gaze flicked back and forth as she did then they snapped back to his green.

"You're Sam's brother, right? Dean?" Sarah asked, arching an eyebrow slightly. She watched as he walked around her, returning her hand to the books she hugged to her chest.
