What Sheifa disliked about people coming over was having to prepare something for them. She was no cook, and it was even too much for her to prepare tea and some cookies. But she was glad when she looked around the kitchen and found that there was food. Great, their new roommate knew how to cook! In better spirits now, she took the bottle of hot chocolate and the cake and brought them to the living room, just as she heard a knock on the door. Must be Zuko, as she really wasn't expecting anyone else.

She opened the door, smiling at her guest. "Hey." Then she remembered that he was supposed to be some sort of prince, so she attempted to bow, and it looked terribly awkward. "Sorry, kinda forgot about you being a prince for a while there, Your Highness." She giggled. "Come in."

While Zuko was indeed a crown prince who would more than likely ascend the throne and be ruling a country upon his return to his world, he wasn't exactly used to be pampered like most princes were and thus did not expect anyone to prepare treats or anything of the sort for him when he paid them visits. Especially when such visits were professional, Alliance business and not personal. And he certainly did not expect anyone to bow and use formalities as Sheifa did when she answered the door. He was a prince, yes, but he wasn't the prince of this place.

He held out a hand and waved it dismissively. "No, no, don't do that," he said a bit awkwardly, stepping inside. "And please, just call me Zuko."

Sheifa was about to joke about how she was technically a duchess now, but decided against it. She just smiled. "Okay. Zuko, then." She gestured to the table in the living room. "Cake and hot chocolate, if you want some. That's all we have here I'm afraid, 'coz I can't cook and all."

Her expression then sobered a little as she sat down on one of the chairs. "I guess you have questions?" she asked, noticing the paper and pen.

While the prince's expression was one of neutrality and stoic calm, he was inwardly pleased with her choice of food and beverages. Chocolate, while it didn't exist in his world, was something he had grown quite fond of here. It was unlike anything that he'd ever tasted before and he adored it and nodded in acknowledgment. He did indeed want some, but he'd see to that after he asked the questions he needed to. And, conveniently enough, she asked about that very thing.

"Yes," he said, holding up the notepad, which had earliest thing remembered written down at the top in not only surprisingly neat handwriting, but in Mandarin.
