Hakkai had noticed Gojyo the moment he'd entered the building, even from half-way across it. His lover's scent had reached the sensitive nose of his youkai form before Gojyo had even started to call out for him. He immediately headed toward the half youkai, moving fluidly through the foliage without disturbing a single leaf.

There wasn't even a rustle to announce him as his stepped out of the bushes to Gojyo's right. "You're back," he repeated his earlier comment, his voice low, almost a purr. This time his words were much surer because Gojyo standing before him was so very real, much more than words read on a machine.

That voice sent a pleasant shiver running down his spine. Low, sexy...evil. Even as Gojyo found himself aroused, he felt like running out of there and away from the creature that had haunted his dreams for months, repeating a nightmare that had actually happened in reality. The redhead tried not to choke as he moved closer to Hakkai, reminding himself that the Minus Wave did not exist here and Hakkai was in no danger of losing himself.

"Yeah...yeah, I am," Gojyo answered, swallowing thickly as his eyes drank in Hakkai's beautiful youkai form. He was a temptation beyond sin. Gojyo's hands itched to trace the vines on the youkai's skin and he clenched them at his sides. "What you said about not paying attention..." he began, but trailed off, his hastily prepared scolding now gone.

"Hmmm?" Hakkai hummed questioningly, a deep rumble in his throat. Gojyo had seemed like he was going to say something about that when they'd been talking in the machines earlier, and now again. It made Hakkai curious as to what would be following that lead-in.

He took a gliding step forward so that he was standing right beside Gojyo and leaned in to sniff along his neck, taking in his scent and exhaling a rapacious sigh. He'd missed Gojyo so much, and he'd been gone so long. He'd withdrawn into himself, away from everyone else he'd come to know here. There hadn't seemed anyone to bring it up with: Skuld had things on her mind, the Goku he'd known had been replaced by a new one, and the Genjo Sanzo was hardly someone he found easily approachable. The monk was an idol to Hakkai, someone he treated as though he were a god incarnate.

"Gojyo..." he murmured, nuzzling at the other's neck, happy to have him back.

"You--" Gojyo tried again, but was cut off when Hakkai suddenly moved, graceful and calm as you please, and then started nuzzling him. He was about to tell him off for apparently being careless in his absence, but now guilt ate away at the kappa's thoughts. What had he been thinking, sleeping around this gorgeous youkai? Hakkai wasn't doing anything else just yet and already Gojyo could feel a slight buzz, like he was getting drunk on the brunet. And too easily, at that.

"I guess I'd take it you missed me, eh?" he kidded as he wrapped his right arm around Hakkai's waist, his left hand holding the back of the youkai's head tenderly. Gojyo gently pulled him back, then tilted his face up to him so that he could kiss him, quick and chaste on the lips. He tightened his hold around him and pressed their hips together. "You're beautiful," he said, out of the blue.
