"I... I don't know..." Sheifa was shaking - not a good sign. "There was this woman, and she said she was my mother, and I tried to leave because you said that I shouldn't go near her, and then... and then..." She shook her head. "I don't remember. I don't remember. But I was holding a knife and there was blood and I... I..."

I think I killed her. But she couldn't bring herself to say it.
