"Oh, goddess? Is that what you are? I just thought you were just blessed with the good looks." He chuckled as he followed her into the living room.

"That sounds rather invasive." He mused out loud, pulling the cigarette away from his lips to lick them thoughtfully. "I think I'll pass on that one." He took a seat across from her and took another drag from his cigarette.

After a short pause, he looked up at her. "I guess I could say I had a run in with death." He smirked.

Matt kept on grinning at her. It had been a while since he had actually sat and talked to a female figure face to face. The last encounter he had was the brief business meeting with Halle that he had attended with Mello. Then there was Misa, but that made him feel more like a stalker than just being a spectator.

"It could be worse." He shrugged, leaning back into the recliner. He dropped his arms over his stomach and held the cigarette at the side of his mouth while he spoke. "I was expecting a game over, but I guess I just respawned somewhere else." He grinned to himself, doubting that she would get it. Not many people would unless they knew how obsessed he was with gaming. "I haven't run into anything seriously negative yet." Unless he let what people might already knew about him bother his thoughts, but he couldn't care enough to dwell on it at the moment.

"I might take my games seriously, but I know the consequences that result from life." He nodded.
