Yuriy hadn't even considered the thought of meeting at night to be strange. More so than anything, he just wanted to get things done; and it was passed noon the time that he had posted. He chose outside because he wanted to test the range of his Saiga 308. Why sit around waiting? Yuriy wasn't a fan of doing nothing useful when nothing useful was what he'd been doing for the past three years. Trying to make a name for himself, again. Now he'd been thrown in to a situation where he could be useful; had no choice to be useful. The young Russian had very quickly built a tightly knit love/hate relationship with this entire ordeal ( ... )

She pulled a gloved hand out of her pocket and grasped the proffered hand, shaking it firmly. "I am," she replied, the small, sly smile that was her default expression settling over her features. Her eyes flicked over him, giving him a quick look-over. His eyes were as startlingly blue as his hair was startlingly red; he was young, about her age, maybe younger. He's pretty~, she thought. Privately, she was amused by this, although she wouldn't have been able to say why, exactly. It just wasn't how she'd pictured him.

"That's why mutes don't belong in the militia," he said, letting his hand drop. It stayed by his side for a moment before it came to settle on a hip.
No, Yuriy probably really wasn't what most people who only talked to him, or only head about him would expect. He was pretty. Pretty vicious. It was a mistake many people made:underestimating him because of it. He hadn't even thought about what she would look like, and unlike her, he wasn't interested in giving her a look over. To him it was something irrelevant.

A person's physical appearance was very important to Faye, because whether they chose to admit it or not, it did affect their personality. But she was the last person in the system likely to underestimate a pretty face.
Faye studied Yuriy for a few more moments, then got to business. "So. I believe you wanted to know about people's plans." She shoved her hand back in her pocket.
