This was almost like where he was going to go. Almost. The surrealism of this entire situation threw him off a lot more than he was going to show. He'd have to adapt of course, what else could he do for now? It was still... unsettling. Well, his whole life for the past three years had been. At least he'd made a name for himself in the underground, and now once again he was a nobody. It terrified him. Reminded him of things he didn't want to remember. Like the abbey that he took refuge in. Automatically he found his way there. Woke up every so often at night in a cold sweat; or got jumpy at small noises every while he was alone because he'd swear that one day, even though it was impossible, one day Balcoff would be there ( ... )

Now what?
Driger was out, and ready to bite, claw, fight. But could he? Could he really attack things physically...like Boris had?
She shook her head, denying it more vehemently than before. Econtra put these bad thoughts in her head, that was it; she had become more sullen, more grave in the few months she had spent here.
How long would she keep such things to herself? She'd never know. She didn't know why she hadn't reached out to anyone enough to know them as more than acquaintances.
...then, she really wished to go back.
She had to find a target.
She turned around, trying to find something suitable.
Yuriy was anything but suitable.
Rei blinked, sure she was hallucinating. So that conversatithrough the PDA was--
Her mouth opened, then closed. She just had to opened again to address the person who was currently walking past her.
''I-it's really you.''

He stopped when she spoke again. Just keep walking, Yuriy. Wait.. What was she doing? She looked as dumbfounded as he was at first; but the gender swap surprise wore off as quick as it came. Now it was just amusing. Really, with everything that was around them? He wasn't that surprised.

His head turned over a shoulder, and one foot pivoted a little in the snow. Slender fingers slipped over a hip to settle there. Crystal blue eyes settled back on the figure. Why was she talking to him like it was a good surprise to see him here. All things considered, it made no sense. If his memory served him right (which it may not have) didn't Blitzkrieg always tear Bai Hu Zu apart in the stadium?

Admittedly, that wasn't as interesting as what she was doing with drigger. "No," he chuckled after a moment, "I'm just a figment of your imagination."

ooc: Rei is from VForce actually, I should have sticked to VForce icons, sorry. to_her_yang November 26 2008, 19:15:15 UTC
To say she was happy to see him was perhaps an exaggeration. However, in the midst of her isolation, a reminder from her world was welcome, because she knew how to deal with it.
Yuriy on his own could be manageable, she told herself. She had, perhaps, felt fear towards Boris at the Russian Championshipsm, but that was about a year ago, wasn't it?
She blinked again, taking his sarcasm literally at first; with everything related to hallucinations in this place, he could have been right.
''Your presence isn't all that surprising, thinking about it.'', she replied then, regaining composure. Her own tone had changed after these days on her own, she noticed. These words sounded alien to her ears.

"An interesting being." Krad commented. He had only been taking a stroll when he saw the girl training as well as the rather...interesting creature come from the spinning thing. And an oddly strong spirit was in the being too.

She turned with a slight surprise at the new voice.
Seeing the boy, she replied with a slight smile. ''It's a sacred spirit. ''
New faces were always welcome, despite her newfound solitude.

Krad raised an eyebrow. "A sacred spirit? Sacred for what?" He asked, looking mildly curious at this.

A little disconcerted by his curioisty, she explained anyway, Driger looming calmly over them.
''Well, they're very ancient spirits that were sealed in rocks and freed by rituals. They're like local gods at times.''

Those numerous plots to take the BladeBreakers' bitbeasts away made her a little more reluctant to tell about them, and thus she rarely trained with Driger out in the middle of the day. This time was more suitable, colder and grim, but it felt safer.
