Alvis had been wandering around what seemed to be a park, though it was her first one. She had seen the water a ways off in the distance and gone over to see if it truly was water, something she scarcely saw. She came up behind some man before realizing he was there and overheard his comment. Not sure if he was talking to her or not, she decided to answer back anyways.

"Are you not used to quiet?" she asked with all the seriousness possessed by an 11 year old.

"You can say that." Haine's voice was rough but it wasn't gentle. Even if the other voice belonged to a little girl, Haine didn't have a soft side for children. "My world is probably more filthy than this world." He made a comment about it and took a step closer to the lake, he kicked the water with his foot to watch it splash further into the center.

Al was completely shocked by such treatment of water. "Ah!" she exclaimed, rushing forward. "It's water! Don't treat it like that!"
