The pale blonde woman's approach was remarkable only for the fact that her feet fell above the snow, by just the narrowest margin, leaving no tracks and - more importantly - saving her from having to deal with the irritation of having the icy material get into her shoes. She eyed Morty, or rather his hovering snowballs, with an almost predatory sort of curiosity as she wandered up, her path having been altered from something quite a bit more vague as she spied the spectacle.

"Not bad," Karla remarked, cocking her head slightly as she tracked the icy satellites.

Morty had to relax his control over more of the snowballs than he would have liked to be able to reply. "It's surprisingly easy as long as I'm not trying to do something else at the same time."

"Well," Karla replied, rocking back on her heels and folding her arms across her chest, a gesture designed more to keep in warmth than create any particular sort of emotional emphasis. "Practice makes perfect, hmm? I'm sure the process will become more versatile with time. Have you found your upper limit yet?"

"Not yet. I've only been out here for about an hour and a half." He'd been up to around fifteen when Karla arrived - though they'd started dropping out more quickly by that time, so he suspected he was getting close. The motion seemed to be a fairly simple one, anyway - keeping them all at the same speed helped. It also helped that he'd been doing things similar to this for the past couple of days, ever since he'd realized he could. "Don't think we've met, by the way. I'm Morty.
