Schuldig had barely gotten back to his room after his trick in the cafe. He hadn't had that much backlash since he'd been in his first team out of Rosenkreuz. He'd tried to make it to the bathroom, to get some painkillers to at least take away the physical reaction to the backlash. But it had hurt too badly ( ... )

"Idiot..." Kaiba muttered to herself as she searched the apartment for Schuldig. She had no idea what the hell had gone on and right now she didn't really care. She hadn't talked to him much after their first encounter, but he had made it to the short list of people that she actually cared about.

"Pull yourself together." She said, not knowing just how seriously the backlash had hurt him. Heck, she didn't even really know what he was.
