Maria left her room early that morning, intending to head to her usual spot up on the roof. There was a lot for her to think about, including the possibilities her powers offered. If only she could control them better.

She caught sight of Yelan almost immediately. An elderly woman with stern features and a fighter's stance. She reminded her of...

Maria frowned. Where had she seen this woman before?

Yelan felt uneasy, it seemed she was watched and then her eyes caught sight of Maria. Why was she staring at her, she wondered but then she took the initiative to talk to her.

"Hello miss. Is there anything I can do for you?" She asked the moment she was an arm's length away from Maria. Even though she's really not the friendly type but she sure is cautious in her actions. Not wanting to reveal her true self right then and there, for maybe this person might be of use to her in the days to come.

"I'm sorry, but have we met before?" Maria asked, now turning to Yelan fully. She didn't seem hostile, just mildly curious at the resemblance she couldn't quite place.

"I think not... " she paused a bit then continued. "..If my guess is right, maybe you have met my daughter. She's here as well." She supplied.
