Pehaps the doomsayers were right; chaos was really creeping into the community as the cuffs were off. Rei refused to let it reach her, as she tried to just forget. Calls for organizations were imminent, but this time, while wanting to be helpful, she wanted to focus a little on herself first. Yes, it was selfish, but what could she do?
Remedies. Yeah, basic plant-based remedies she had learnt as any other village child. For a while, at least. Passing by the greenhouse the same way she had tried before-, yeah, before that event, she collected some leftover seeds.
She then felt a presence, perhaps for no reason at all; her sensitive ears did catch a lot of misinformation, anyway. But she stopped, on guard, just in case.

Saya smiled to herself smugly. Well, someone had finally found her. It was about time, too. She giggled girlishly, just loud enough for this girl to hear, and then made some slurping sounds with her tentacles that grew louder as time went on. She figured she'd just scare or unnerve her first at the very least, since she certainly didn't look very tasty. Maybe she could experiment on her if she caught her and didn't kill her...

A giggle. Just what-
She didn't look around, focusing instead on where the sound could come from. Perhaps someone was playing hide-and-seek, who knew?
The slurping sounds, however, made her tense. Maybe it was paranoia, but she had been overly cautious about everything since she had woken up.
Something was there, but what could it be?

She was nervous, obviously. Saya could sense her tensing up, and after the experience that had just happened, one which deeply disturbed most who had gone through it, she knew it would be easier to grab someone and scare the hell out of them when they were still uneasy from it, assuming they hadn't already seen her or something like her in their own world or in Econtra.

Saya started reaching out a tentacle from the side and letting it slither along the ground quietly, but at an alarmingly quick speed, leaving a trail of brownish-red slime as it moved. She could've moved faster, but creeping people out was fun, and she liked to toy with her prey sometimes when she wasn't dying of hunger or in a particularly bad mood.

The park was a rather comforting sight to Raine, and, after a particularly harrowing assault from the Entropi, it was a place that offered a place of silence. It was the perfect area for contemplation, which was what she needed - time to piece together the whole situation. With the Keepers in charge of the compound, something had to be done.

But what? That was a question that had incessantly circled her mind, one that had yet to produce an answer.

Letting out a small sigh, the half-elf lessened her grip on the staff she clutched, as she let her eyes settle on the nearby pond, its shimmering surface reflecting the setting sun's orange-red rays. It was beautiful, but, once more, she couldn't help but wonder if this was just an illusion. Like what the Entropi had done to them, was this entire place something Cruxis created? That was yet another inquiry that had not a solution.

Saya spotted someone unsuspecting passing by, one who didn't seem to notice her presence at all this time.

Perfect.

She flexed two of her tentacles excitedly, then sent them snaking along the ground behind Raine, leaving slime in their wake, watching her victim intently and moving just as intensely carefully. Normally she would not be quite so subtle while playing the part of the predator, but in such a place as Econtra, where there were people who could probably kill her if they wanted to, she had to make certain that this wasn't one of them who would do so in an instant if provoked. Losing a tentacle or two would be better than losing her entire life, after all...

Raine's reverie was interrupted by the sound of something slithering lightly across the ground - a noise she easily heard from constantly assessing her surroundings. Briskly shifting towards it, her eyes were instantly drawn towards the two tentacles traveling across the ground, with a trail of slime to mark its movement.

Her eyes widening slightly in surprise, she was suddenly reminded of a creature in her homeworld of Sylvarant. Was there a monster? In an unusual place like Econtra - that held the possibiltiy of being a Cruxis ploy - she wasn't going to take any chances.

Tightening her hold on the staff, she swiftly raised it, feeling warmth travel from her fingertips to her weapon as mana began to build. Intently watching the tentacles on the ground, she waited with what felt like a bated breath, prepared to use her magic the very moment it reached her.

Saya's tentacles halted, and all muscles relaxed within them. It almost seemed as though the owner of the tentacles had died suddenly... until a girl's giggle could be heard from the source of where the slimy extremities originated from. She was just taunting the woman now, it seemed, letting the odd, inhuman appendages twitch from time to time idly as they lay otherwise motionless on the ground.

Neka was walking around, her hands in her pockets and looking a bit grumpy. She was still without her headphones and she wasn't in the best of moods. She had already died once when she had been forced to join the Reaper's Game...and now she had died once more before being able to get her friends back.

She paused for a moment, looking up at the sky. She missed Shibuya, even though she wouldn't say it.

Ah, so here was a familiar one. This one would be a lot less simple; besides, Saya didn't feel that Neka was really worth eating anyway. Experimenting on her would be a lot more satisfying, she thought, especially since she was slightly fond of her... just slightly.

In her human girl form, she strode up casually behind the other girl and yelled in greeting loudly when she was close enough to possibly startle her.

"Hiiiiii Neka!"

And Neka jumped. She didn't expect to see Saya around. She turned around and looked at her roommate. "Uh...hello." She said, running a hand through her short spiky orange hair. She didn't know what to think of Saya right now, especially now that the cuff was gone.

Saya grinned widely. Oh, this was going to be fun.

"Guess what I found out I can do today! Heehee~!"
