Summary: Toshi was in a tiny coma when the crazy happened, so it hit him like a truck. Giving all that's been going on in his head and the sort of dying thing, he's not doing that great.

"Toshi!"

Right now, Atem really didn't care that she might get a few holes put in her. Instead, she tackled her fiance like the cat she shared traits with. "There you are!"

He didn’t time, just reacted to what was happening. Someone was trying to touch, grab, get him! The gun had no bullets, but it was still a weapon and he swung his arm fast, the cold steel coming into contact with that other person’s face. The cuff would have zap him if it was still on, but with it gone there was nothing to keep his actions in check. He took a few steps back, face blank of all emotion towards this person. Kill or be killed, live or die…those were the rules of the game now. He didn’t make another move, maybe this person would go away now that he had shown he would fight back.

Atem staggered, and crashed to the ground, startled, eyes wide. "Toshi?" She got to her feet, staring at him. "Toshi, wake up! It's me!"

Speaking...why couldn't he remember the last person he had spoken to? He understood the words, yet somehow their meanings weren't coming out clear in his mind. He should say something but how to talk aloud wasn't working out any better than understanding. He settled instead on making his point clear by pointing his gun at her. It was a warning again, he wasn't ready to die another time.
