Rose headed for the park, glad the bloke had picked a place she knew. She was getting to know this place, sure. Plenty of places she still wasn't familiar with, though.

Speaking of the bloke she was going to meet, he seemed a bit daft. Going on about love and all that. And the thing about wanting to smell her.

So maybe he wasn't a human. There were plenty of other species that relied a lot more on smell than they did, like the Slitheen for example. She couldn't feel things nearly as good here as in her own universe, but she could tell there were a number of non-humans around.

Really, maybe he was crazy and maybe he wasn't human, but meeting him would probably be fun. It couldn't really hurt her to let him meet her, anyway. So arriving at the park, Rose tried to figure out which of the people here was the bloke waiting for her.

Rose - the other Rose - was not long behind, though her path of approach was different enough to avoid simultaneous arrival into the park, which would hardly have helped with the generally surreal nature of the situation. It was already peculiar enough, which was saying something. Parallel worlds, as she was certain had to be the explanation this time, were mad.

It was just a little bit exciting, in the way that new and curious things could be.

The problem with meeting someone only just spoken to, she realized as she arrived at the park, was that in a public place, it was difficult to be sure just who it was you were looking for. They should've arranged some sort of sign, maybe.

Though she didn't recognize any of the male contingent of the park's visitors, she noted that other blonde up ahead looked eerily familiar even from the back, and her stomach did a slow, uneasy flip.

Wolf recognized them both, of course, though the one with glowing eyes made his nerves do uneasy jitterings. More than their looks, it was their smell that intoxicated him, filled the half-Wolf with the uneasy possibility that perhaps he in fact had two - no three - possible One True Loves in this world. This possibility was frightening to someone born in a world of fairy tales. He had no clue of how to deal with his situation. He had never thought that someday he would have to make a choice about who he loved - Wolf had always believed it would be destined ( ... )

Rose was glad when the bloke she was supposed to meet stood up and waved. Saved her a lot of trouble in trying to find him, when she didn't even know his name. But it looked like he really did know her, spotting her so easily like that. Must be time playing with them or something. Or universes, maybe.

She grasped at the time stuff, trying to get some sort of feel for him. He didn't feel quite human, after all, proving her earlier speculations right. Didn't seem quite not human either. Kind of like the hybrids she'd met in the future, really.

The real surprise the time stuff gave her was that somehow, she was standing behind herself. She spun around, trying to figure what that was all about.
