Unaware of who she would run into, Princess Mercury decided to take another walk around the complex that was Econtra. She was wearing a different dress, finally. Still in a shade of blue, though not as regal as the traditional princess dress she was used to. The blue symbol of Mercury still showed on her forehead, through her bangs. She had no set destination; she was just exploring.
Lucivar was surprised to see a woman...or more a woman-child in all bluem her hair and her dress. When he looked closer he even saw some symbol on her forehead. He had no idea what the symbol was but it seemed to be on her dress as well. Maybe it was a family crest? And the dress, it was nice and very well made it seemed. Sometimes he really could not understand what that thing was thinking, if it could, when it brought people here.
Lucivar decided to say hi, what was the worst that could happen? Lucivar slightly opened his wings and closed them before talking. He hoped she would be nice and not like many of the females he had known.
Mercury blinked as she saw the man (and the wings) but she had seen stranger. She didn't sense that he was a youma, either. Smiling, she curtsied to the man. "Good day, sir," she greeted, the raindrop-shaped gem hanging from her neck catching the light, shimmering like water.
Lucivar took in her reaction to the wings. Most just stared, some moved to touch, and a few pointed. Lucivar was happy the lady just went about like normal. Even being from his realm people were not used to Eyriens most the time.
Lucivar bowed back and smiled to himself about the sir, not used to being addressed as such. As she started to stand back up he saw a Jewel, at first he thought she was Blood and he had by some bazaar chance missed it but as he looked it looked more like water. The gem really was amazing. The way the light shone the gem did look like water. He wondered how a gem could do that. Even Cat's Ebony Jewel never did anything similar.
Ever being the blunt one Lucivar said what he thought. "Your gem is very unique, looking just like water. It is amazing."
"Well, well." The sharply amused voice, unmistakable as the tart psychic scent that accompanied the speaker, might occasionally be considered the herald of 'worse'. That there was no smoke was a good sign, if only in that it meant Karla hadn't been experimenting lately, be it with her spells or in the kitchen. She hopped down from the lip of the fountain, abandoning her charcoals in favor of eying Lucivar intently. "He lives! I'd begun to wonder..."
Lucivar rolled his eyes, making sure to make a big deal of it, to show Karla just how much she was not funny. "Good to see you to. Dare I ask what you were drawing?"
Still it was nice to see her. He seemed to have lost track of time here very regularly. He needed to work on that.
Karla cocked her head to one side, giving him a wicked grin that was at odds with the general innocence - for once - of what she'd been sketching. "I don't know. Dare you? We wouldn't want to offend any delicate sensibilities," she teased. As far as Karla could be translated into normal person, it was an admission that she was glad to see him as well. She was only properly bitchy with the people she liked, after all.
Lucivar's lazy-arrogant-smile came easy. "I will dare."
His looked at the fountain a bit too long. He had gone a while and had not dropped Karla, or anyone in water for a while, he wondered if that would change soon now that he was talking to Karla.
Karla seemed happy to see him. She was acting like her normal self, so only a bit bitchy and pain. Yes the not "dropping someone in water" time would seen very soon.
