Characters: AU Fujiwara Yusuke, open~ Where: the Plaza, by the Fountain When: mid-afternoon Summary: Yusuke's sitting on the edge of the fountain. Come say hi? Warnings: That depends on who shows up.
Elena was sat on th other side of the fountain, relaxing. It was a nice place to relax, she decided... Hearing a slight shuffle, she looked over to see a young man sitting nearby, looking thoughtful. "...Hello"
Having not noticed the girl on the other side of the fountain, Yusuke turned toward the sound of the greeting. It was a girl he didn't recognize, but she seemed nice from what he could see, so...
Miyako stared down at the knitting she was carrying for what felt like the millionth time. It had started life with the intent of being a scarf. She wasn't certain what it might possibly be now. Other than something she would never want to show to another person as long as she lived.
With an irritated growl, she yanked it off of the knitting needles and threw it forward, not caring if it hit someone or not right now.
Which meant, of course, that was exactly what it was going to do.
Having been paying as little attention as he had been, Yusuke only noticed the flying mass of knit yarn flying toward him a split second before it actually did, and by the time that realization actually managed to register in his head, it had hit him square in the middle of the face.
As it dropped onto his lap, he just sat there, startled. He certainly hadn't been expecting anything like that...
"Did I... do something upsetting without my knowledge?"
"Oh! I'm sorry!" She blushed a deep shade of red and scurried over to pick up the offending knitting. "I should've been more careful. No, you didn't do anything...I can't even do anything with this." She glared down at the yarn as she spoke.
"It's all right," Yusuke replied, waving his hands a little bit in submission. "And... you're better at using yarn than I would ever be?" Not that he had ever had a single lesson, but.
