Gaz managed to drag herself out of their apartment. It hadn't been anything but lack of energy. Dib was gone-both of them, actually, and so was Dib. IN a sad way, she thought that was inevitable: a Dib never really could stay in Econtra long. Three Dibs come and gone was proof of that, as was the lack of a Zim (which Gaz wasn't too sad about. That this was yet another disappearance of people she cared about was also something Gaz was starting to get used to, even if, more and more, she started to feel empty.

She missed Matt and Yuuko most. Kimi was starting to become distant, and other Yuuko, well, she had her own issues. But Yuuko and Matt had always been able to lend an ear, and losing them had hurt Gaz more than she expected.

But Keiji was still here. Who would have thought that the guy who caused her the most grief would be the one that she counted on most, who she would be waiting for all the time? So of COURSE she couldn't refuse his summons: she was walking toward the clothing store already.

Keiji had dimmed most of the lights, except for the ones in front of the modeling mirrors, and pulled the blinds clothes. He wouldn't accept any interruptions tonight. It was going to be just Gaz and him, and Funa-plushie doing some little duties, but he'd stay in the background.

He waited outside the door of the shop, looking around for Gaz and smiling brightly when he saw her, walking over to her and bowing, and taking her hand and kissing it before she could protest. "Good evening, my lady." He said, giving her his most fond and loving smile.

Gaz was surprised, enough that this completely caught her off guard enough to have no prepared reaction. She flushed a little, and tried a scowl, but it really wouldn't work, so she managed to at least pull off a half decent sneer. "Jeez Keiji," she said, taking his hand, "Just when I think I have you figured out."

Still, she couldn't help letting a smile go by. People rarely got to see this side of Keiji: they were all so obsessed with his perverseness. Gaz knew it was out of control, yeah, but not once did any of those guys ever mention how charming Keiji could be too.

"What's going on?"

Keiji smiled and winked. "What can I say? I like to be surprising." He said.

Admittedly, Keiji couldn't bring out the charm much in Econtra. Usually it was reserved for needed business deals. And now, Gaz. After all, she was the girl he wanted to charm most.

"Just excited for our date." Keiji said, offering his arm and doing a sweeping gesture towards the store with the other. "Shall we?"
