Characters: Elise [OU] and Yoh Asakura [OU] Where: The park When: Afternoon; after this Summary: Intrigued about Yoh's world, Elise decides to meet with the shaman in the park. Warnings: None expected.
Yoh wandered into the park sometime after his talk with Elise over the Messenger; in the afternoon, as they agreed on. He started glancing at everyone in the area, a bit rudely, trying to identify the girl he was supposed to be meeting up with here. Probably would have been better off asking for some sort indication of her identity, but it was sort of too late for that. Eventually he walked up to her with a smile, looking a bit clueless. "Hey, sorry to bother you, but are you... Elise?"
Hearing someone speak her name, Elise briskly turned to find a young boy standing there. He had short, dark-bistre hair and wide, innocent eyes of similar color. He stood at about 5'3'', with a slim, fit stature. Around his head, he had orange headphones, which cozily lay right behind his ears.
Gazing at him, the name 'Yoh' instantly flitted through her mind.
"Yes, I am," she answered, nodding, a bit eagerly. "And are you...are you Yoh?"
Yoh chuckled and waved a hand. "Yes, I am!" he repeated, similarly to her answer. He grinned widely and held his hands at his hips. "Man, I'm good. I dunno how I knew, but you just screamed 'Elise' to me for some reason!" He laughed again.
Elise gave a small giggle, finding the young boy's cheerful behavior reassuring.
"Well, I'm so glad we could finally have the chance to meet face to face," she said, beaming. "For a moment, I was worried we might miss each other..."
As she clasped her hands together behind her back, she could still feel a smile, spread across her lips. Ah, how nice it felt to smile again. Ever since arriving, it felt as if a contemplative, dismayed expression had been carved into her visage. Yet, speaking with someone who appeared so lighthearted seemed to lift some of her anxiety. Not to mention, he didn't have a clue of her status back at Soleanna - thus, he wouldn't treat her any differently. That would certainly be a pleasant change from home...
