Indeed, Anakin did feel Quatre before he approached, but made no move to acknowledge his presence until he spoke. Unclasping his hands from behind his back, the Jedi turned to face him. At twenty-three, standing at over six feet, and having spent a good portion of the past few years on his feet with a lightsaber in hand, chopping down whatever the Separatist armies sent at him, he imagined he could appear a bit intense to those who didn't know him. The scar that ran across the edge of his eye was plainly visible, but his other battle scars, including the arm he'd lost to Count Dooku when he was younger and had foolishly rushed into a situation he wasn't ready to handle, were hidden by clothing and a leather glove that fitted over the silver prosthetic that had replaced the missing limb.

"That's right," he said, wearing a friendly smile.

"Likewise," Anakin said, bowing as well. He rightfully should have done so first, as was Jedi custom, but Anakin Skywalker was infamous for forgoing customs and traditions of the order he'd been inducted into as a child. He was no longer under the tutelage of a master and his padawan was not around for him to be setting an example for, thus the Chosen One felt he could be a bit more relaxed than Jedi formalities often demanded of him. It was bad enough he had to keep up such an act around his own wife, both in public and in private, depending on which of her staff was in attendance that day.

Of course, that was breaking the rules in a different and far worse way.

"Your presence within the Force is strong," he said after a moment.
