Summary: Erk's been affected by the truth plot. He's still taking care of Ilyana. This is not going to end well... definitely not for Erk, at least.

Ilyana woke up slowly, the room faintly coming into focus. She blinked a couple of times but everything was fuzzy as usual when she was sick. She knew that Erk had been taking care of her and she wondered if he was still around. "Erk...?" she muttered sleepily.

Erk went over to her as soon as he saw she was awake. "I'm right here, Ilyana." Taking care of her had turned out to be a much longer proposition than he'd expected, but he wasn't ready to give up on her yet.

Ah, so he was still here. She realized that she should thank him for taking care of her. Ilyana wasn't quite sure of the date, but she was sure that it had been a while. "You've been taking care of me for a while, right?" She gave a small smile. "Thank you."

"Don't mention it," Erk replied. He blushed slightly, but he'd worked out by now that Ilyana couldn't always see very well when she was sick. "I'm amazed no one else was before me." Erk paused; had he meant to say that?
