"One minute, Rose," Terra called out as he finished straightening up his room. He had to try and salvage a little dignity somehow so he'd quickly cleaned up the mess of clothes and armor strewn across the floor. Most of it ended up stashed in the bathroom but he made sure to block that room off with an extra chair.

He opened the door a moment later and bowed his head in a quick, if not lackluster, greeting. He wasn't sure what to say now that she was here. Thank her for coming, apologize to her for being harsh over the messenger? He was still aggravated, tense even, but he knew it wasn't right to take that out on her.

"Come in," he backed away, gesturing to the space around him, "I... I appreciate this."

Rose shook her head, putting a paw on Terra's arm. "You're my friend, Terra. I don't like seeing you upset." Occasionally she really wished that people - not only Terra - wouldn't try to protect her from problems. It was sweet of them, but it wasn't necessary; even apart from her being a healer, there was a reason she'd arrived with a broken neck and it wasn't that she'd fallen out of a tree.

Terra grimaced, moving away from Rose to pick up a small piece of armor he'd missed lying nearby. He'd never been one to share or openly talk about his problems. It had always been easier to bury unwanted feelings and stick with the emotions that made and kept him strong. Despite that, he'd meant it when he said he appreciated her presence. Discussing the issue made him uneasy, yes, but being alone... That was somehow much worse right now.

"I'm fine," he spoke softly, looking back to her, "I'm over it. They're in a better place and I'm going to resume training. I won't fall asleep like that again if I keep busy. Can I get you something to eat or drink?"

Rose sighed. She knew what "I'm fine" meant, but pressing the issue would definitely be a bad idea. "If you say so, Terra. And no, but thank you for offering."
