First there was his brother, then some odd...spell that knocked him out, then his brother again. He had no idea why the boy was so taken with the idea of making him happy, when frankly, he couldn't care less. he just wanted to fight and be done with, that was all.
He paused. Someone was...throwing quite the tantrum. He listened for a while before stepping out of the shadows, amused smile on his face.
"Screaming at the cuff, unfortunately, wouldn't cause any fireworks."

"You ain't Mistah J." She accused, as though it was somehow the other's fault. With a quiet huff she hopped gracefully onto her feet and brushed herself off.
"Who are supposed ta be anyhow?" The woman asked, hands on her hip and head tilted arrogantly to one side, giving the impression she was looking down on him... despite being a good two inches shorter.

Wait... Did they say blow something up?
The familiar phrase almost made her smile. Anna stepped towards the sound, soon making her way to the front of the bank. Someone was slumped on the ground in front of it. She moved closer and answered clearly, eying the costume she wore wearily. "I'm not...whoever that is."

Sighing, she stood, hands resting idly on her hips. Why did this girl seem familiar...?
"Hey... Don't I know you?" She asked, leaning in slightly, eyes narrowing suspiciously.

Well, she was feeling a bit better now- at least it was someone she'd talked to before!

So a walk was in order. As usual he wore his full makeup and opera regalia. Just because he felt bad didn't mean he shouldn't look good.
An annoying, high pitched cry of anguish broke through his thoughts and he decided to go see what exactly was going on. A distraction, hopefully, at least.
He paused as he watched the girl in the makeup and odd clothing flail about. Not since Kefka had he seen one like this. He approached rather casually, flipping his feathers as he waited to be noticed.

"Woah!" She flinched a bit, startled and hopped to her feet. "Huh, and they say my make-up's over-kill!" She joked, laughing a bit, before trailing off in a sigh.
"...Nope, just not the same." Harley murmured, crossing her arms over her chest and sulking in Tomo's general direction. "What do you want, suga?"
Reply
He ignored the makeup crack. "I was just attracted by your caterwauling," Tomo explained with a wave of a well manicured hand before slipping it into his pocket.
"Not the same as what?" he asked.

"It ain't the same makin' fun of people without Puddin' here..." She gazed away with a wistful, depressed look.
"It ain't the same without Mistah J hittin' me around..." Oddly it was the worst things she missed about the Joker.

Upon going near the bank, she came upon a rather curious person: a girl, dressed in the manner of a harlequin, seemed to be doing some kind of strange dance accompanied by yelling. That was certainly something to look at: was she from some sort of circus and was upset because she'd been pulled from there? How ridiculous. Would the Indegio start recruiting lion tamers and trapeze artists next?
"What's going on then?" Alice asked. "Who is this 'Mister Jay?'"

Heaving a sigh, Harley rose and brushed herself off. "Mistah J's the Joker of course! The Clown Prince of Crime! What, have ya been livin' under a rock or somethin'?"
Honestly, what was with people not knowing who he is? Different worlds or not, she was sure her Puddin's name would be famous across all worlds! And if it wasn't, it should be!

Not that this idea was really gaining ground. No, with how the girl was reacting, it was more likely they were some sort of criminals, and this mode of dress was a theme. In any case, Alice found it all interesting.

He flew over the buildings, swooshing around the bank's old clock tower, he laid his his purple metallic hues downwards, only after hearing "Blow something up." He peered down, only to see a woman in a jesters uniform. Mistah J? Was that..
He narrowed his eyes, floating over head, scanning history files, then scanning the recent posts on the econtra comm.
"Harley Quinn, I presume.."

With a soft, "eep!" she sprung up and took a few steps back, gazing up at him.
"What's with all these people knowin' my name? Just who are you?"
You know, aside from not being who she hoped he'd been. it was a bit disappointing, really.
Crossing her arms over her chest, she regarded the floating--flying?-- boy--alien?- with a kind of curious, suspicious air. "How are you doin' that...?"
Reply
"Brainiac 5." He said before slowly floating to the ground, landing on his feet. "And that's my secret. I know you because you're the sidekick of the Joker. I've read the history files on you..."
A beat.
"And before you ask, yes.. I come from your future. The thirty first century, in fact."
Reply
"Mah future? Really?" She was quiet, thoughtful a moment, before grinning slyly. "The future? Really? My reputation proceeds me that long? What's the future like?" She asked, taking a step closer to him, her smile innocent.
She'd milk this opportunity for all it was worth.
