Dick heard the cry of pain--and thinking it was Robin or one of the others he grabbed the first aid kit and a bowl of water and cloth from the kitchen then headed for the door. When he turned the knob and opened the heavy door he couldn't hide the shock that came over him as he saw his younger brother lying at his feet. Kneeling down he picked him up and carried the teen to the couch.

" Tim..What happened" Dick said his voice barely hiding the worry in its depths. Taking the cool wet cloth he started to clean the blood of of Tim's face frowning at the injuries.

"Tim" groaned in pain, writhing some as he was laid on the couch. "They...they took me...I called...where were you?" he asked. He coughed, it was sounded a little bloody.

" Tim....I was here I'm sorry kiddo" Dick's eyes had a look of guilt in them as he saw how battered Tim's face was, he looked like he'd met the wrong end of a steel toed boot too many times. After hearing the bloody sound of Tim's coughing he slid the teen's long sleeved t-shirt over his head--forcing him to look away to the Kit before turning his eyes back to Tim's injuries.

"Who did this?" Dick questioned as he looked at the obviously cracked ribcage and the part of the broken Ulna that was sticking out from Tim's battered Forearm. Trying to keep the Teen Talking he began cleaning off the blood preparing to tape his ribs.

Tim groaned. Tomo reached for a likely candidate, and a similarly painted face was close enough to the surface of his memories to be plausible. "He's here, Dick..." he groaned. "He's here now. J-Joker...is here..." he took a shuddering, rattling breath. "How could you not know? How could..."
