After hearing Uryuu inside of her apartment, she padded out of her room and over to him. She didn't know what had happened, but she had woken up as a cat today. She found out that she had turned into a rather cute orange kitten with small white markings where her hairpins would be.

"Mew." She said, looking up at Uryuu as she sat down at his feet.

For the first few moments all Uryuu could do was blink down at the little orange fluff ball that was sitting at his feet. Slowly he bent down to get a better look at the kitten, noticing her markings and that her fur was the same color as Orihime's hair.

He reached out and rubbed one of her ears gently. "Inoue-san? Are you alright?"

Oh she liked that. She purred softly as he rubbed one of her ears. She mewed again, nuzzling the hand that had reached down to pet her. She could really get used to this kind of thing.

He smiled at her and moved his hand to tickle under her chin. "And here I thought you couldn't get any cuter Inoue-san."

Finally he stopped scratching and cupped both hands together in front of the kitten. "I think it would be best if you came and stayed with me until this is all over. I wouldn't want IlForte getting any ideas about hurting you." He fully expected her to jump into his open hands. Normally he would have just scooped her up, but he figured it would be more dignified he she actually got to choose how she was carried.
