Summary: AU!Ishida has questions about OU's recent activities. He most likely will not like the answers.

Uryuu waited a little uneasily after his alternate's response. After all, it was one thing to hear that there was another you, and it was something else entirely to meet that person face to face. This alternate dimension business was strange. Would they even look or sound the same, and if they did, how weird would that be? It'd be like having an identical twin or something, only the other one was still purely a quincy, and hadn't been tainted by the arrancar.

The rap at the door withdrew him from his thoughts, and he started slightly, exhaling a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. This would be interesting, to say the least. He rose from his chair, dressed in an arrancar uniform with a quincy cross sewn onto the back and breast pocket of his jacket, and made his way to the door. Without inquiring the name of the visitor, as their identity was fairly certain, he turned the handle and the door swung open.

He did look the same. It was a little shocking.

The Quincy couldn't help but stare for a moment barely blinking at the mirror image. They even had the same style of glasses! The surreal moment lasted only as long as it took Uryuu to notice what his twin was wearing.

It was white, like the normal dress of the Quincy, but he knew as soon as he laid eyes on the clothes that it was different. The familiar symbol on the pocket couldn't mask the all too recognizable style of the arrancar uniform. He took a breath but couldn't seem to let it out again as his brow knitted together in confusion that quickly dissolved into anger that just as speedily melted back into confusion.

Before he could stop himself and think up a better response to this shock Uryuu flailed helplessly a bit before pointing at his alternate's chest, stuttering over his words for a moment before finally blurting out, "W-what the h-h-hell are you WEARING!?"

Uryuu sighed slightly and nudged his glasses along the bridge of his nose, glancing away from his counterpart in both shame and mild irritation at having his attire pointed out. Really, he despised wearing an arrancar uniform, but in Las Noches, what else was he supposed to do? He had little choice.

"Yes, it's an arrancar uniform, and no, I don't like wearing it, but what else could I do? Wear the same clothes for as long as I had to stay in Las Noches?"

'Yes! Yes you could have!' Would have been Uryuu's first response but he held himself back, taking a deep breath to steady his thoughts. His recent time spent as Szayel's test subject had given the dark haired boy a small taste of what this version of him must had gone through at the hands of their enemy. Still, the prideful, arrogant part of him convinced himself that he would have died before donning the arrancar uniform.

Uryuu brushed past the other boy hastily and stalked into the room uninvited. "Fine, whatever. Let's not waste time, what was it you wanted to talk to me about?"
