[Thread] Rescue a kitty?

Summary: Atem, like so many, has taken a tumble, and is in need of assistance. Cue Grandmaster Kragok to the rescue!
Warnings: Tetchy!Atem ^_^; The poor kitty is in a lot of pain, after all!

Long days and little to do to relax made for a cranky Grandmaster, and nothing showed this more as he tromped to Atem's hole, ready to pull the human out from the ground and take her to shelter. Still, he mused, it was a distraction from other thoughts bothering him, and he was unwilling just yet to admit that he was in completely over his head with this new place.

...The hole. Great. Now to get this over with. He stepped to the hole and poked his head over it, glancing down. "You rang for a rescue mission?" he asked.

"Undergarments. They seem superfluous, and they don't hide more than a human bathing suit, nor do they offer much in the way of protection. So why the importance?" Kragok asked. He'd thought about this, and decided that in his opinion it was completely ridiculous, but perhaps a human would have a better perspective on the matter.

Atem sputtered for several moments before, before recovering, somewhat. "I ... can't imagine going without them," she said at last. "I mean, yeah, you don't see them, but I mean ..."

"So it's cultural, not practical?" Kragok responded.

"I wouldn't say that," Atem muttered, blushing. "One undergarment in particular is very handy."

"Which one is that, Atem?" Kragok inquired, walking along beside her.

Atem blushed even more violently. "My bra," she finally said in a very small voice.

[gm_kragok]

"Why is a bra useful?" Kragok continued, now curious.

"You don't want me to answer that," Atem muttered. "Really."

[gm_kragok]

"Yes, I do, or I would not have asked," KRagok replied, frowning. Why was every human so damn awkward about pieces of cloth?

Atem sighed and pointed mutely to her chest. "They hold these in place and stops them from bouncing around."

[gm_kragok]

"So it's an item of convenience for mobility," Kragok clarified. "That makes much more sense to me now."

[queenofgames]

"If you say so," Atem muttered, her blush getting worse.

[gm_kragok]

"Are you getting a fever?" Kragok asked. "We should hurry to the infirmary, then."

[queenofgames]

Atem nodded mutely, choosing not to say anything more in case her face really caught fire. "It's over there," she said, pointing.

[gm_kragok]

"Good," Kragok replied, striding over there. Occasionally he would glance back up at Atem, suspicious. "This is too sudden to be a fever. Why are you turning so red?"
