after being absent for a couple of years, i will be attending the AEES Annual Meeting, "Engineering for Ecosystem Services - Design at the Interface of Human and Natural Systems", at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR from June 23 - 25, 2009. it will probably be my cheapest conference ever (excepting the two conferences where i didn't need

oh yeah, it's a great society. this will be my ... fourth annual meeting with them. as long as i don't run into anybody who says, "oh yeah, i read your thesis...", it'll be great.

maybe. it's less than an hour away, so i should be able to at least do a quick visit.
