how to suddenly feel really good about yourself: have two job interviews in one day and have both interviewers offer you a position. have one of the interviewers tell you she really hopes you take the job with her but that she thinks you'll be great at whatever you choose to do. have the other interviewer tell you that the interview was basically ( Read more... )

Hey you. I'm sorry you've been having money and job hunting trouble. I'm thinking of you!

Ok, I guess. We're getting more "No"s than we expected and J's mom still hasn't bought a dress, but the rest is falling into place.

that's good...for the most part. bummer about the "no"s, but i guess a smaller crowd saves you money on the reception. still, wish i could be there. *hugs*

thank you! i think i'm going to have to go with health insurance and more money rather than the job i'd rather do...but the people and place seem nice, so it's not like i'm going to hate it. : )

Possibly (POSSIBLY) there would be more opportunity for advancement at curves, even though it pays less, and you would be in a better position physically, I would wager.
That's my one penny for ya (who has two cents these days?? I feel your monetary pain)

not really more chance for advancement at Curves (people tend to stay as just trainers for a long time), though you're totally right about the better position physically. it's also the place i'd more like the work. but, regarding those two cents we all seem to lack, The Children's Place is the better choice. i never knew accepting a job would be so hard. but then i've never had to job offers at once before. *l*
