Since Ethan has been born, I have had 6 IV's, and have had my blood drawn 5 times. Ugh... I just want to be better. The worst part is that I am on bed rest and I have a million things to do... like pick up a breast pump and put Ethan on Medicaid and these are things that I think I need to get done now. Good greif almighty that made me cry, you definitly need to put that in Ethan's baby book, I wish I had written down my story when It was fresh in my memory. I think that people really make light of what labor really is like and you showed it exactly, the emotions and the scariness of the whole thing. I know that when I saw greg at Kareoke on Wednesday and he was talking about Ethan, I realized something in him has changed, he has a light about him that wasnt there before. You too Cari, I'm glad the whole ordeal is over and I Hope you get better soon and I would love to come over and cook and clean for you if you need me to. You and I are twin pregnant ppl I think...very similar stores, hell same size babies and all, same getting sick afterwards and same having a similar delivery, not to mention kinda crappy pregnancy but I know that you know now everything that I was telling you about that True love feeling for your baby, that knowing that you would die if it kept him from getting hurt. I just wanted to tell you that CW's work is hiring, for a silk screener and they do train...i mean it's not all that great of a job but they h ired cw in 3 days and its monday-friday 8-5 so if greg is looking for a quick job..that'd be a good shot, plus its at juan tabo and lomas so it's decently close...anywho just th0t i would let you know

Um it's called albuquerque sign print I think, it's at like 400 Juan Tabo...its a huge sign shop....if you were coming from my house it would be on the right side of the street..once you pass the wellsfargo it would be on the other side of the street..CW said he would give greg a reference....if he needed one, but they pretty much hired him on the spot, shit Christian was with CW at his interview and they still hired him :)

i had read the comments before reading the story of ethans birth. i didn't think that it would make me nearly burst into tears but it did.

you wrote this out beautifuly. i'm so happy you have your family and that your all well. i've been worried about all of you and after reading this i think you will be a great family. i think greg is going to be a good dad and you will be an awsome mom.

i would really like to come hang out with you and help you get around to do what you need when you can.

i hope you feel better soon. if you need some soup i'll bring what ever kind you like over to you. *hugs for all*

Tomorrow call wic and ask them if you can have somebody else pick up the breast pump for you and I'll go down to the medicaid office and pick up the application for you...so at least when you go back in you can get an appointment right away. BTW medicaid is retro active 3 months so all his pediatric stuff will be covered by them....if you want me to do that i'll take care of that for ya

the medicaid thing always confuses me... the lady at Lovelace said that I had 30 days to add Ethan to it otherwise the visit would be "self-pay" I guess I just don't know how all of it works... I had this problem when I was pregnant. i actually have an application for Medicaid... at least I think its the one that I need. However, I guess I need to wait until I get a SSN for him??? Ack I am so confused... I hate all of this crap!

Well i know the state gives him a temporary social security number when you take him in cause it takes like 6 weeks to get the social security card...and i think as long as you have the paperwork from the hospital and what not i think tht's all you need..i think i went and got him medicaid within the first week he was born and i know i didnt get his birth certificate by then....

Yeah I have the hospital "temp birth certificate"... I just hate all of this stuff! Ugh! I'm going to just go down there and deal with it. Greg doesn't want me to move but i gotta get stuff done. I'm also going to make Greg go and apply for that job... he allegedly has been working on getting this other job but its taking forever. *sigh* It would be pretty funny to have our "unemployable men" working at the same place, huh???
