Easy! Because if someone simply is NOT meant to ride, that bike will eliminate them from the pool of beginners!

Uh. I think the name of that motorcycle might be... a bit of a dark omen. :P

Otherwise, I hope you had fun, and yes, practice before you take on roads that aren't straight. :P

Excellent, I'm glad you had that learning experience! Either you'll gain enough confidence by the end of the class to be enjoying yourself, or you'll know riding isn't your thing. It's valuable either way!

If you decide to pursue, don't be surprised if the "I'm gonna die!" feelings stay with you for awhile, at least until you get some of the technique into muscle memory. (Concurrently you'll develop "everybody is trying to kill me!," which is an attitude you should carry with you always regardless of what you're driving.)

Remember, targeting is readl: your bike is most likely to go where you're looking. So be sure where you're looking is where you want to go!
