A Sort of Homecoming....

Tickets have been purchased for Shannon, Alex and I to fly to the SF Bay Area for Thanksgiving. I am actually driving/riding with my co-worker Mike, who is planning on visiting a friend in San Francisco. We are leaving on Saturday November 17th. It's funny how Dutch tv just broadcast a report on the lack of spare time in the States, and here you are, mentioning the amount of days you get to stay in S.F.

And what's funny, too: You're talking November. There'll be 4 family members living in this house by then...

Oh, and one more thing: If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in S.F./Las Vegas in May 2008. Care for a drink?

Americans are more productive. Do you believe that? I know we don't have a lot of vacation time compared to a lot of other countries. Work hard, play hard.

So your new offspring will have sprung by November. Keep me posted.

If you come to the US in May, I'll meet you, don't worry. Vegas is closer, and we do have options of places to stay there also. It will be good to see you.

It is said Americans are more productive because their CEOs tell them to. We don't have that 'work hard, play hard' thing going on. (The Office on telly really does show what's it's like around here.)

Even though I'm not quite the posting bloke on LJ these days, I can tell you (the path to) the birth of our second will be right up there.

During the 1st 2 weeks of May Auk, Michel and myself will be visiting S.F. and Las Vegas (and perhaps one or two canyons along the road). Nicole reckons she won't be too keen on leaving the house (read: kids) for two weeks, and she certainly isn't gonna take them any further than, well, driving distance. So, she won't come, but she (and the kids) definitely will in 10-15 years...
