today is my little sister's (my only sibling) 34th birthday! so for the next 3 weeks, she and i will only be a year apart in age. Shannon and i are meeting her and her family for dinner tomorrow at the Bamboo Club at the Brickyard in Tempe. the Brickyard shops and restaurants is one of my employer's biggest accounts.

Hey, where does Marlies come from? Does she like cheese?

She has family in Abcoude, and Heerlen. Her grandmother was from Maastricht. Marlies was born here, and is 1st generation American citizen in her family.

I know she likes plain cheese quesadillas, so I'm sure she likes cheese.

Just a thought: In this case I think it's cool to give some one a utterly Dutch (and quite unpronouncable) name abroad.
