I remember! And I read the article and I have some questions! So you make the dough in a 5 gallon bucket? Is that seriously right? You can't refrigerate a 5 gallon bucket, so do you put it in the pantry? And it doesn't dry out?

Or am I remembering this wrong? LOL

A 5 gallon bucket would be so much bread! :cD It's a 5 quart bucket and it goes in the fridge. I also have a 12 quart container for when I double the recipe, but it takes up half of a shelf in my fridge so I don't like to make that much too often.

Beer bread is soooo yummy though...

I wonder if non alcoholic beer would work.

Oh yes, I meant to say that it's just not true that 100% of alcohol cooks off. Even if it did, it's a personal choice not to keep alcohol in my home. I cook my bratwurst in O'Doul's (non alcoholic beer) and cook clams in non alcoholic wine. Maybe that would work with your bread?

Fun! I got the book for Christmas, and I was gushing over it while you were taking the internet break.

I skip around to the ones that look tastiest or healthiest, especially the ones Eloise can eat, and we cut out so many other things that I'm not really interested in the gluten free chapter.. but it does sound like a fun challenge. I can't wait to see all your posts!
