As far as baseball boyfriends go, Lugo's kind of an unfortunate one. My favorite is Melky, and he's been he subject of trade talks EVERY SINGLE SEASON since 2006. It's scary. My sympathies.

Yeah, I feel rather unfortunate that he affects me the way he does, because heaven knows I've caught my share of flack for it, but I can't help it -- he's just so damn cute! I do have some FORTUNATE baseball boyfriends out there -- he just happened to (formerly) be on my team. Thankfully, there are now the media tools to keep up with any and every player, given the time.

I *like* Melky, and I do know he's had a rocky time of it in NY. I hope things'll come together for him and stop being so precarious.

-big hugs-

I know we already talked about this, so I'll just say again that I'm thinking of you in all this. <3

Thank you, Liza. :::HUGS BACK:::

I'm actually doing okay about him being gone, as I had been expecting the axe to fall. It's just the ugly talk that gets to me. Hell, even Theo wasn't terribly diplomatic. My cousin Danielle even called me to ask if I had read what he said -- and she's a Yankees fan! >:O

Considering Swish is on his third team in two years (and his initial popularity with the Yankees is dying down; he's been getting booed big time as of late as his strikeouts go up and his batting average goes down) I feel your pain. Just follow him to whatever team he goes to. Who knows, he may thrive on his next team.

NOOOOO -- the Swish-love has worn off? I'm really sorry to hear that! He seemed to be such a favorite right from jump. Fans can be a fickle bunch, no?

Strong rumor has it that Julio is heading to those other guys in NY and is already working out at their Dominican training complex. Interestingly, his brother used to pitch for the Mets. I do hope he thrives -- there's no doubt in my mind that the change will do him good.

Thanks...I'm doing a lot better with it today.
