Spawn's advances in the last week:

- Grabbing her foot (the start of a long and rewarding relationship, I suspect)
- Rolling over from front to back
- First diaper rash.

joyouschild pointed out that if we went this long without a diaper rash, we were pretty lucky

Swaddlers

Yes there is another size of SwaddleMe. They'll probably be good up to 20+ lbs. We're using the large swaddlers and James is just getting strong enough to get himself out given a whole night. That is one solution to the "when to stop swaddling" question.

We turn the volume completely off and don't respond to cries after bedtime and before 5:30 am. James can easily get through the time without feeding. If we respond by going in and giving a pacifier or a pat, he just wakes up and demands attention more often.
