If you haven't heard about Girl Number 9, I wouldn't be surprised. Though, I'm sure you've heard me rambling on about it. :p But let me tell you about it.

It's a half hour web series, broken up into six five minute episodes, written by Severance writer James Moran (he's also written episodes of Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Primeval, but I like to ( Read more... )

I can't wait to see the last two episodes, it's been amazing and creepy. I also predicted Holly would be #9, but didn't have a clue what'd happen afterwards- I just figured they'd save her... not like this. GDL's acting has impressed me in this, he's been fantastic as Matheson. I never thought a web series could be this good!

I wish we knew how many people were following GN9 - nobody on my flist seems to be, even though I've nudged them in that direction more than once.

I know the genre might not be everybody's cup of tea, but there is some truly amazing acting and writing going on here. GDL is getting a chance to display his range and he's doing an impressive job and Boylan is creepy as hell. Plus all the story points you touched on . . . It is truly living up to being a 'dark thriller' and that's the type of scary that I like.

I can't wait to see how everything wraps up tomorrow.

RE: gore vs. games, I'm with you on that. Exploring the areas around the killing rather than seeing how much blood and guts can get shown is more interesting to me.
