It appears the mansion at least has restored itself. I hope its people are doing all right as well.

Do I remember correctly that these events are based on one person's memories? Can anybody tell me whose memories these were?

The event was based on the Major's memories.

He seems quite the personality here. At least I have heard more about than from him and the messages were certainly not good. He is... a scientist of sorts?

He's not someone you want to meet and he is not a scientist. That man is an rabid animal which should have been put down a long time ago. I have said it serveral times before. He needs to be killed until he doesn't come back. It's unfortunate that no one else shares my opinion.

The Major only speaks when he's up to something and knows he has the upper hand. Otherwise he's silent and absent.

Then what is he? What is more, what are these crimes he deserves to be put down for?

I'll certainly keep that in mind. I'm sure there will be times when I'll need the help. Thank you.

Yes. The problem should be taken care of, as long as he gives his hand a rest for a week or so.

They are. I sometimes wished that there were less people with a violent past in this building, so the events could be good ones more often.

Few people have suffered no hardship in their lives at all. It would not surprise me if out of a person's memories the mansion selected the single most negative one.

[ Shadowed room, cameras in the background, terrible haircut - yep, it's Alex, justifying his collection of tags about never contacting anyone else. ]

Sof'. Can I...

[ He's looking at her oddly, like he doesn't want to believe something. ]

...ask you something?

Of course, Alex.

[ In an 'as if you even need to ask' tone. ]

In person?

I will be with you shortly.

She knocks. ]

Alex, I'm here.

I'm pretty sure it was the Major's event.

I admit it worried me for a while, but I suppose there were few similarities after all... and there is little that distinguishes one battlefield from another.

How are you, Elaine?

...You thought it was yours?

[Oh, that smile. If only Elaine had gotten to talk to Eleanor a bit more, she would have a veeeeery different opinion about you.] Much better. I'm repairing friendships, I guess you could say.
