Something approaching fear gripped him though he wouldn't let it rule him. Concern too and worry, warring with the protectiveness he felt for the woman in front of him however hard it was to admit it to himself much less to her.
He didn't say a word, he simply watched and waited.

She was quiet when she spoke. "Wake her and feel my wrath," she murmured, inviting him closer with a small twist of her head. "I've no intention of getting out, so if you'd like attention, I suggest climbing in as well," she said, smiling an honest smile for the first time since about three hours after Adrienne had started the screaming fits.

"I don't intend to wake her, though your wrath can be quite...interesting," he smirked a little. "Bad day?" he didn't have to ask whether it had been bad, he knew it had been bad from her state now and what he'd felt over the past few days. He'd hated being away from her, absolutely hated it and whilst he could have simply taken over and kept Henry back not even Echo would have forgiven him so he'd stayed inside.
He slipped into the bath, hissing softly at the water, opening his arms to her.
