Whooo hooo!!!! Arizona softball to the College World Series Championship Game!!!!!!!! For the first time since they won in 2007! Versus UCLA! Combined, these two teams have 18 championships between them (UCLA 10, AZ 8 -- they are 1 and 2, respectively, for most championships of all schools).

Go PAC-10!!

sports! i'm waitin' on football to start :]

i'm not a soccer/futbal fan, but for some strange reason i have this urge to check out a game this year at one of the bars in san francisco.

any suggestions on 'must see' match ups?

Gah. So, so glad it's Friday. Ridiculous week. But the Blackhawks won! And AZ did not (need to work in "UCLA sucks" as often as possible :-))) Can't wait for football to start again.

Unfortunately, I do not know much about soccer/futbol/world cup action (for example, the matches started today, apparently, not tomorrow) but I do know that the first US match is at 11:30am PT tomorrow (Saturday). South Africa being, what, 8? 10? hours ahead, all the games start ridiculously early PT. US is playing England, so it should be a good / fun game!
