i have this stuff thats like waxy stuff, and it works really good. i just put a little bit in my hair when i know it's going to be like a huge mess, and normally it won't get that bad when its humid out. so i suggest looking around cvs for something that is in a little can that is hair wax. i don't know what mine is called, i got it at a salon, but im sure they have it at cvs or walgreens.
well you've seen my hair. it's frickin curly as hell. i let mine air dry if i'm not straightening it, and i use this curl spray from Garnier. it works for me. i've never used any gels or waxes or anything before so i can't tell you about any of that. =\ but yeah i'm thinking of just shaving it off because it's such a pain in the ass. or i'll just pull it up all the time.
if your hair curls at all, try using a curl spray and blowdry it with a diffuser. it's that thing that attaches to the end of a hair dryer and has those little finger-looking things.
orrrr straighten it. but when it's humid and i straighten my hair it starts to curl up again.
oh well, messy beach hair is the new look, run with it ;)
My hair frizzes during the humid weather like crazy, so I usually just let it air dry and it gets really curly. But, I do use this serum stuff from Avon that keeps it a little okay. I know that they have frizz shampoos and that leave in Australian shampoo always works good, especially on the chlorine. It makes it very smooth. I think it's called Aussie or something like that. :D
I have this hair oil thingy gel. I can't remember the name right now. I haven't been using it lately because I've slacked off in the hygiene department. I usually use it when I'm straightening my hair, and I try to straighten my hair half hour after I wash it, but it takes forever, lol.
