Once in Fairkid co-op there was a coupon newspaper lying on the table (this is no comment on the co-op), with ads for all kinds of scary foods. One of them was sausage-on-a-stick wrapped in (coated in?) a blueberry pancake. This was packaged in a box, probably a freezer food.

why here in nebraska we've had deep fried oreos for years at our state fair! also: deep fried snickers, mars bars, and twinkies.
every year when i go with my mom, we talk about actually buying some but then we chicken out.
