There are also websites that print you 250 free cards if you let them put their logo on the back. I'm currently debating a couple now (I need cards for my first professional conference) but most of the cards on the site are too fru-fru. What I WANT is minimalist black-on-white centered letterpress embossed text with my name and contact info, but since I don't have a pet book-arts Lab like some of my classmates, I probably won't get that. sigh.

I didn't know about such websites; thanks for the tip-- though, honestly, the idea of having some corporate logo that isn't the logo for the paper for whom I eventually hope to be working I find a bit less than appealing. I managed fine; settled on a very simple design-- all text, no foo foo graphics-- which my printer and template handled fine, after we had a bit of a talking-to.

Embossed? That'd be snazzy, but good things come to those who wait, m'dear.
