So I got my Christmas present from kira_ yesterday, and unlike some people I know, I'm going to wait until it's actually the 25th to open it up.

Dude got me the Target exclusive Transformers Movie JAZZ figure, with the G1 color scheme! For those of you who don't know, Jazz is my all-time favorite

You put that G-Saviour DVD out on purpose...

And wow, they did a great job G1-ifying it. The only G1 repaint I've seen at the store is Starscream, and while I'd like to get it someday, I'm waiting to snipe a movie Thundercracker first.

I sooo did. I also used Big Bird in Japan, but it's hard to see because of the angle. There was also Boogiepop and Others on top, for those keeping score.

Yeah, I'm really impressed with the way he looks. I'm glad they kept the front of the car as his upper torso like that. For some reason, I've always liked the way that looks. I really can't tell which version of his head I prefer more, but the film version works well with this sculpt.

They should come out with figures from the viral site next. A "film" version Grimlock that looks like an aluminum Barney. Can you imagine?

Oh man, I forgot about that video. It looks like a smoother G1 Grimlock, I think they based it on the Classics figure. Or an anamatronic Barney that escaped from Universal Studios.
