okay, this is getting ridiculous (and this from someone who keeps finding it pop out up on her f-list).

IT'S A BOOB.  GET OVER IT.  i got 'em (barely), you got 'em, your mamma got 'em, and 70% of men have 'em bigger than me (with 100% of all men having nipples  ::gasp::)

whether it is out there to titillate or feed a baby, just get the fuck over it

and may i add, i don't think a boob in any form is sexually explicit.

But seriously - our culture is beyond fucked up when breastfeeding is treated equivalent to a nudie-show (and let's not discuss the fact that they've got no problems with icons featuring topless men).

my argument to mom since i was wee annoying one: "how come they can walk around without shirts on when it's hot? they've got nipples too, what's so wrong?"

topless men. feh. what about all the pantless men in the icon? or animated f'ing bunnies/tedybears/dogs/goats and dogs/people and dog/etc.?
