So much has happened over these past weeks, it caused me to forget about this journal! What a shame! I must really use it more often so that I can communicate with everyone here

Quite well, thank you very much! Things have been a bit more quiet at the library, though. I think people are taking advantage of the nice weather and spending time outside.
Forgetting about the journal isn't that difficult sometimes. I once went months without recalling it was there, only finding it when I was clearing the room of my belongings to move.
You seem to have quite the family with you. My son is with me as well, though his mother hasn't seen fit to join us just yet. It's good to see that this island doesn't simply drag us here individually.
Well, sometimes there's just nothing important to put down in the pages.
Doing well, all things considered. I think he's grappling with a few questions, but they're the sort that he'd come to me if he needed my help. How about yours?
He trusts you that much, hm? That's wonderful. I know my Erk is dealing with some very daunting things right now, but... it's very difficult to get him to open up, even to me.

It is most fortuitous that you've found your kinfolk, Madame Louise. My heart simply swells with joy for you! It would be a crying shame for such an obviously devoted wife and mother to be separated from her family. I shall have to meet your boy and...ah-'Lord Pent.' It's unfortunate that despite the island's small size I have yet to make their acquaintances-perhaps I've been a bit of a recluse. Ah well, no time like the present to correct such mistakes.

Thank you! I must admit, I'm overjoyed to have both my son and my husband here with me. You did mention your boy to me once before - how is he doing?

You are so very kind! I'll be sure to introduce you to them. Someone as refined and knowledgeable as yourself shouldn't feel like a recluse!
