Well... there are a couple of specific pressure points on the feet, one the pinky toe and one on the inside of the ankle, of which I know to be stimulators for this sort of business... if I could be bothered to reach my feet (which is very uncomfortable) I might be more willing to do something about it more often. The acupuncturist had a go at those, and another spot on the top of the foot with which I'm not as familiar.

However... I did have a friend over to do home pedicure the other night. I will try to get a foot rub out of the husband this evening but he is generally not so keen to do that.

I spent the day before Bethan arrived having irregular contractions. Some got so painful I had to stop walking and wince a bit, but they were dealable with. They stopped in the evening and I thought that was that, but 24 hours later we had lift off ;-)

I hope something similar happens for you!!

I had the same kind of thing with Maya... irregular contractions the day before which stopped around 6:30 or so in the evening... then serious labor started around midnight and she just kind of shot the shoot lol I had seen the OB that a.m. and was dilated at 3 also so maybe you'll get lucky like that =)

why does this thing randomly kick me out? I'm confused.. but that's me, obviously, with Maya and whatnot... anyway, hope you're taking it easy because pretty soon you won't get the option for a while =) in other words... put the laundry down! (yeah, I never would have taken my own advice so if you're like me you're rolling your eyes... though I do wish I had becase now it's a bit of a luxury, though being a mom is the best job in the world =)

Actually I have the green light to do some laundry- trying to get contractions going more... although I'll probably get out and take a walk pretty soon here.

I'm looking forward to the promotion. ;)

You should come over and try one of these apples before I eat them all... seriously, I thought of you when I bought them. They're organic honeycrisp and OH SO JUICY. Yum Yum.

And I'm trying to rock and sing the baby out... make it feel like out is the place to be.
